Classic Route in the Sierra Nevada where we climb the highest peak of the Iberian Peninsula. We start in the “Hoya de la Mora”(2250m) and climb towards the “Collado de la Cariguela” with the possibility of going over the summit of Veleta (3396m). From the Cariguela, we will cruise along the hillside to the “Laguna de la Caldera” from where we will descend about 1000m to the Poqueira Refuge, where we will spend the night and recharge. The next day we will ascend to the highest point of the Peninsula, the Mulhacén (3482m) climbing 1000m to enjoy a panoramic view beyond comparison. After a rest and snack at the top we will descend for the “Siete Lagunas” towards Trevélez, a dramatic drop of 1200m enjoying the excellent spring snow of the Sierra Nevada.
